秦灭亡后，刘邦与项羽展开了争夺统治权的楚汉之争 ，刘邦不敢与项羽抗争，亲临鸿门，向项羽求和。鸿门宴上，不乏美酒佳肴，但却暗藏杀机，项庄舞剑为酒宴助兴，意在杀掉刘邦，最后刘邦乘机从鸿门逃走，这就是著名的历史故事《鸿门宴》。

  In 221 BC, at the end of Qin Dynasty, Liu Bang, a peasant leader overthrew the Qin regime with Xiang Yu, an aristocratic general. Therefore, he set up a banquet one day assigning his cousin Xiang Zhuang to do a sword-dance as part of the entertainment and stab Liu Bang to death during the dance. With his help, Liu Bang finally managed to flee this banquet of conspiracy, later conquered Xiang Yu’s army and became the first emperor of Han Dynasty.
